Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board - Gift Boxes

These cute little gift boxes were made on the Stampin' Up! punch board .  Pootles Papercraft was the inspiring site and You Tube video link used in this post.

These boxes measure 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" and are  1 1/2" in height
My dear friend Sherenne Poulton showed me this beautiful box and I just had to make some too

This is such an easy box to make, so grab your Envelope Punch Board and...
Score and punch at 2", and slide over to 4" score and punch.
Repeat this on all 4 sides.
Round corners with other end of punch.
Fold all score lines.
On one side cut the fold lines as per You Tube video HERE
Add adhesive
and assemble the box

There are a couple of ideas for DSP and a cut down label for the front...

The bow as demonstrated on the video
A closer look at the layering of the label
The other box has a different method to close the top - a slit on opposite sides of the opposite flaps allows one to lock them together to obtain a very flat finish.

And this is Sherenne's beautiful box.

This such a great tool and I cannot explain how easy it is to use.  So if you don't already have one, please let me know so I can get one in for you.

Happy crafting ...
