Christmas Card 9

The 9th card for Christmas is a fun card using a spinner piece and what better than the snow ball from Snow Much Fun.  Picture instructions can be found here and a You tube video here.  I wanted to use the set Snow Much Fun (W125560 / C122562) even though it does not snow in Australia, we do have sand.... so couple Very Vanilla with Not Quite Navy and this is what you get...

Not Quite Navy, very vanilla and real red Tiny Tiny Sentiments (W199185 / C120024) and the Perfect Polk Dots embossing folder (117335)
A close up so you can see all I did was use a blender pen over the stamped image to run the ink to give the image colour and lighten the colour of the outline.

Cannot do one snow man with out the other...this time using the Northern Flurry embossing folder (120903) on Whisper White since we have snow flakes.

Even  without colouring/blending the snow man is stunning...
Whisper white on Not Quite Navy and stamped in Not Quite Navy and Cherry Cobbler for the Greeting
And then the earthy colours come to mind...the feeling of sand and olive...
Very Vanilla on Crumb Cake card stock, stamped in Crumb Cake and coloured with crayons for an earthy effect.
Then uncoloured, still very pleasing... so you see you don't have to spend heaps of time colouring, or blending, in fact in no time at all and you still have yourself a fun stunning card.

I have made another spinner card some time ago on this blog, be sure to check out the spinning flower.  Go on try a spinner card or a Christmas card in Aussie colours, they really do look great...show me what you can do!

Love & happy crafting,
