Christmas Card - Stampin' Up! "Santa's List" 1

Stampin' Up! Santa's List stamp is my favourite stamp for Christmas card creations this year.  I've implemented the vintage/earthy colours of Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Sued and Early Expresso.  I much prefer these colours as I think they are a little more Australian, even though poor Santa is in that hot suit LOL...

This card is cased from kb papercraft...
The greeting is from No Peeking and the framing is made from (in Cherry Cobbler) Modern Label punch cut in half and mounted so that the ends just peak out and (Early Expresso) Decorative Label punch.

This card is of similar layout but I used a retired roller graph, coloured Santa with Real Red marker and blender pen and added another flag of that wonderful burlap - must have ribbon ...
Somehow I added snow - not sure how or where I did this but how cool is it!
Greeting is from Joyous Celebrations

So let the Christmas card creations begin... whether it be to wish friends and family a Merry Christmas or  for those you love and want to remember at the end of each year,  I hope you enjoy making Christmas/end of year cards as much as I do.

Happy creating...

Accordion Card 2

Accordion cards are wonderful fun to decorate with Stampin' Up! products.  Earlier this year at Coffee, Cake, Craft and Chocolate Club I gave out the challenge of decorating an accordion card.

Sherenne made a very striking card using various retired Stampin' Up! DSP, stamps and that gorgeous brass embossing powder.

A little closer - that fox looks like you can stroke it

The detailed layering in this presentation shows you can use a wide variety of stamps and textures, when creating these cards - one could tell a story...

The cards are very simple to make
Card dimension 12" x 5 3/4" this then fold down so the card will fit in a C6 envelope
       Score landscape on your score board at  1 1/8";  2 1/4";  4 1/4";  6 1/4";  9"
Fold the card in a zig zag pattern along scores and start to decorate

I hope you enjoyed looking and that you are inspired to create a story on an accordion card.

Stampin' Up! "Mosaic Madness"

Mosaic Madness was one of the stamp sets available for pre-order by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

Over the past couple of months I have gathered pictures of projects completed by my dear customers.
Here are but a few...    PLR ladies completed these...
Lurlene and Jenny learned how to use the stamp-a-majig (examples to the left)
and these... the featured card by a lovely Amelia & to the side, centre, this card is by my oldest customer Enid.  She is amazing and really has an eye for colour.

It seems to be the younger generation that come up with something very different to the samples I show.  This gorgeous piece is by Bailee for her Dad for Father's Day - there is a whole lot of stamping here and look at how accurate she is.  Awesome creation Bailee
The colours are Old Olive and Choc Chip on Naturals White card stock
A couple of friends created these, Bev (centre Piece) created something a little different with Calypso Coral and Black...
A mosaic of examples completed by customers.
It is always fantastic to have a friend or two over and watch them create.  I find their presents uplifting and their creations inspirational.  Thank you to those ladies that come and visit and have coffee, chocolate, cake and create with me.  Your friendship and companied is more valued than words can say.

Love to all of my valued customers and friends, happy crafting.

2013 Stampin' Up! Catalogue launch fun 1

I love getting the new Stampin' Up! catalogue each year, new products to play with and a get together with several wonderful customers.  This year was a simple get together to make the following... a gift box, a card featuring Mosaic Madness and the most stunning project, a Purse Easel Card.

This post is to simply reflect on a lovely afternoon, to inspire each other and remember the beautiful creations of each person.  In no particular order, this is what each customer made...
Sherenne's creations have been featured before and how lovely are these?

Marianne - First class with me and wow her creations are awesome.

Betty's creations are always stunning...

Lenny made this gorgeous trio - love the ribbon on her card and the doily on the other as a background.

Amy is new to our group, but wow, aren't these gorgeous.

This lovely trio was created by Amy's daughter Jordan.
Bev was pleased with her beautiful effort

Heather Falknau made her easel card for a 21st - stunning isn't it, as are the rest of her creations.

Thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon of crafting.  I not only enjoyed your company, but seeing what you made was exciting and inspiring.
