Accordion Card 2

Accordion cards are wonderful fun to decorate with Stampin' Up! products.  Earlier this year at Coffee, Cake, Craft and Chocolate Club I gave out the challenge of decorating an accordion card.

Sherenne made a very striking card using various retired Stampin' Up! DSP, stamps and that gorgeous brass embossing powder.

A little closer - that fox looks like you can stroke it

The detailed layering in this presentation shows you can use a wide variety of stamps and textures, when creating these cards - one could tell a story...

The cards are very simple to make
Card dimension 12" x 5 3/4" this then fold down so the card will fit in a C6 envelope
       Score landscape on your score board at  1 1/8";  2 1/4";  4 1/4";  6 1/4";  9"
Fold the card in a zig zag pattern along scores and start to decorate

I hope you enjoyed looking and that you are inspired to create a story on an accordion card.

Stampin' Up! "Mosaic Madness"

Mosaic Madness was one of the stamp sets available for pre-order by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

Over the past couple of months I have gathered pictures of projects completed by my dear customers.
Here are but a few...    PLR ladies completed these...
Lurlene and Jenny learned how to use the stamp-a-majig (examples to the left)
and these... the featured card by a lovely Amelia & to the side, centre, this card is by my oldest customer Enid.  She is amazing and really has an eye for colour.

It seems to be the younger generation that come up with something very different to the samples I show.  This gorgeous piece is by Bailee for her Dad for Father's Day - there is a whole lot of stamping here and look at how accurate she is.  Awesome creation Bailee
The colours are Old Olive and Choc Chip on Naturals White card stock
A couple of friends created these, Bev (centre Piece) created something a little different with Calypso Coral and Black...
A mosaic of examples completed by customers.
It is always fantastic to have a friend or two over and watch them create.  I find their presents uplifting and their creations inspirational.  Thank you to those ladies that come and visit and have coffee, chocolate, cake and create with me.  Your friendship and companied is more valued than words can say.

Love to all of my valued customers and friends, happy crafting.
