Tempting Turquoise and Soft Sky are a purrrfect match with Silver and Whisper White...

Again I used the rock and rolled technique on the ornament in Soft Sky first then Tempting Turquoise and clear powder embossed over the top...

Old Olive and Very Vanilla base with the ornament powder/heat embossed in Gold embossing powder and highlighted with gold glimmer paper, gold foil and Gold Natural Trim...

The cards are an easy layout, the time in the powder/heat embossing.  They are lovely cards - the photos not doing them justice as they don't pick up the dimension and shine of the powder/heat embossing.

2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Faux Patina

Welcome to another Christmas card post where we step up the card with a technique call Faux Patina.  

I have showcased this technique before and thought it nice to try for Christmas.

A Crafty Cat: Stampin' Up! Faux Patina

The card base is Soft Suede and the featured Faux Patina piece was created on Very Vanilla, embossed with Holly and  sponged over with Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and a touch of Real Red and Old Olive.
