Ben loves to craft and one activity we were unable to squeeze in at his party was the making of each child's own planes out of pegs. I saved this activity for his School Celebration. I gave all of the supplies and instructions to the teacher and on craft afternoon each child was shown the prototypes and they made their own peg planes. I received many thank you's from the kids that afternoon, I could not believe it - who says kids want cake to celebrate! you should have seen these kids fly their planes all over the playground and yes including the girls. It was a wonderful success and Ben was feeling very proud.

The kids made their favourite character but instead of using paint to paint the pegs they used crayon :-( They loved their creations and flew them across the play ground when school was out. It was awesome to see. The idea came from Pinterest and
The Night Owl check out Kimberly's instructions - we used PVA glue instead of a hot glue gun.
Enjoy crafting with your children,
