2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Foxy Friends

Welcome to A Crafty Cat,

Ready for a little fun in your Christmas, then Foxy Friends is the most versatile of the "fun" builder sets by Stampin' Up!  Staying with the KISS (keep it simple sweetheart) theme, this layout employs a tag and a badge with a chosen greeting.

The card base/background is embossed using Stampin' Up! textured impressions embossing folders - woodlands in the foreground, Seaside in the background ...

The banner was cut at 2" out of DSP and the chevron punched out with the triple Banner punch.

The various coloured base card/background choices gave rise to a colour production of cards.  The scallop circle frame was created using Stampin' Up! circle framelits and the fox/friends was cut out using the stitched circle framelits.

The greeting can be positioned above or below the fox/friend and matted if you so choose.  It looks great either way.

Love this KISS layout and end up making over a dozen of them for my friends.  They were soooo much fun to create and so quick to put together.  Keep an eye out for more Foxy Friends creations.

2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Wonder of Christmas (Angel)

Angels, I've been eyeing off this set Wonder of Christmas by Stampin' Up! for awhile and finally decided to get it and create with it. She is such a dear little girl, fit for soft pastel/pale colours; Soft Sky, Pink Pirouette and Smokey Slate ... sweet!

stamped, water coloured, shaped and lifted with Dimensionals and Wink of Stella, she soon became a mass card production for Christmas giving...

Vellum for her wings, embossed with a mix of clear and dazzling diamonds added just the right amount of sparkle...

2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Upright Z Fold

This card fold - Reverse Easel Fold was featured last year and requested again for classes this year.  It is a beautiful fold we used to show case the Delicate Ornament thinlit dies along with the Pretty Pines thinlits.  The marriage is purrfect!

2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Faux Patina

Welcome to another Christmas card post where we step up the card with a technique call Faux Patina.  

I have showcased this technique before and thought it nice to try for Christmas.

The card base is Soft Suede and the featured Faux Patina piece was created on Very Vanilla, embossed with Holly and  sponged over with Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and a touch of Real Red and Old Olive.
