Stampin' Up! Window Cards

Hello, thank you for joining me today.  I have something a little different to share with you today!
Have you made a Window card?  This is a window card and I love creating them...
Three layers of cardstock joined at the sides and bowed to create a three layer effect...

I ran a class and these are the cards the girls created.  The photos are not crash hot because I had to use a flash so you can see the detail in the window...

This is literally a Window card - peek through the window to see a lady dancing in front of a seat of cushions...

The background layer.. Below we used "Sitting Here" but "Mediterranean Moments" is another excellent choice

The second layer (which is the middle layer)  is adorned with the image of the lady from the "Beautiful You" set, and lace to dress the window ...

This card was created by one of my beautiful ladies - June for her sister Val.  It uses a combination of Stampin' Up! products and other products (silver stickers) to create a stunning 80th Birthday card.

The cards are created from varying sized rectangles, taped at the edges - we used the dimensional strips, to give more depth.



Stampin' Up! Beautiful You

Beautiful You, released by Stampin' Up! is a set of 13 rubber stamps with three distinct images of females which can be partnered with any of the greetings it comes with.  Also included is a swish of a better word, that can be used to colour any of the images in a water colour fashion.  I had to share this set with my customers; here is what they created!

Stampin' Up! Beautiful You - repitition

Repetition stamping with Beautiful You released by Stampin' Up! is a wonderful outline stamp to use as a repetition background on a scrapbook page or gift bag/box or card.  These are some of  the creations from the A Crafty Cat team.

A KISS (keep it simple sweetheart) card in that the card consists of a card base and coordinating mat on which the repetition stamping is done on.  A centre piece is chosen and coloured...as simple as that!

Splashes of water on the project add to the texture of stamping... Soft Sky on Night of Navy splashed with water, the other Soft Sky on Denim Dapper...

Beautiful You is one of those stamp sets that catch your eye and when you see the many ways it can be used in card making, you soon realise it is a "have to have" item.  This is a set of creations from class where the girls used the current 2016-18 Stampin' Up! In Colours ...

 I started off with a very simple layout - 2 layer, water coloured with ink and aqua pens...

 I then added a little colour with a masked sponged band across the length to create a landscape...
