Santa's Sleigh thinlits can be used on their own or coupled with the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Stamp set of Santa's Sleigh, which includes a deer, tree, sleigh, presents and much more...  To start our Christmas in July a KISS (Keep it Simple Sweetheart) project that is easily mass produced!

The card is an assembly of two 2 1/8" strips of DSP (Designer Series Paper) a scallop circle from the Layering Circles Framelits (141705) and Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372) circle to highlight the beautiful deer cut out using the die from Santa's Sleigh Thinlits (140278) in Soft Suede Stampin' Up! cardstock.

Simply emboss the background with your favourite folder and add a strip of coordinating DSP and frame with a strip of glimmer paper either side using Tombo Glue.  Cut out your embellishments - Sleigh, snow flake from the Stockings Thinlits and greeting (from the Flurry of Wishes set).

 Instead of a red base, Gold foil looks stunning on the building of the Sleigh and instead of Red Glimmer paper you can use strips of Garden Green Stampin' Up! cardstock...

2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Faux Patina

Welcome to another Christmas card post where we step up the card with a technique call Faux Patina.  

I have showcased this technique before and thought it nice to try for Christmas.

The card base is Soft Suede and the featured Faux Patina piece was created on Very Vanilla, embossed with Holly and  sponged over with Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and a touch of Real Red and Old Olive.

2016 Christmas Stampin' Up! Corner fold Perfect Pines thinlit dies

Merry Christmas, and welcome to another Christmas card post.

I love different card folds and this one is a very easy one to accomplish - simply folding down the corner and using the square space it creates, as a mat for a feature.  Add a feature of your choice (In this case reindeers and or trees) on a matt of DSP or embossed cardstock....
