Circle Swing Card Thinlit by Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! have a wonderful, easy to use, wafer thin die; a circle swing card thinlit.  This thinlit enables uses in conjunction with their big shot to easily create swing cards - and they are SOOO much fun.  My son and I cannot get enough of these wonderful cards - we just keep on making an playing with them...open, shut, open, shut LOL.

The card fold is great for Christmas...

2014 Catalogue Launch - Swing Card 5

Stampin' Up! Swing card circle and label thinlit dies are so much fun to play with.  This post expands on the last few posts, with additional centre features of butterflies and a heart chain.... the sky really is the limit.

The 2014-16 Stampin' Up! In colours are so soft and the moon light DSP paper stack highlights Lost Lagoon in the example below.

The cards are created using the big shot and the Stampin' Up! circle thinlits die, coupled with the Circles collection of thilits enables you to create a port hole.  For directions please click HERE.

As one opens the card, you can see the circle piece swings away, holding the suspended butterfly, revealing the series of circles cut out to form the port hole.

I used a butterfly image from Stampin' Up! Papillion Potpourri stamp set and stamped it on Lost Lagoon card stock.  I then used the elegant Stampin' Up! Butterfly punch with Hello Honey card stock.  I layered this to form the centre piece...

Stampin' Up! Basic Black, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Real Red - no better combination for a card of love.  The DSP used on this card is from the 12x12 paper pack Back to Black (133700).

I used the Heart framelits collection to create the Real Red heart and I used the Stampin' Up! heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack (133787) for the centre piece...

2014 Catalogue Launch - Swing Card feature

Swing cards are so easy to create using Stampin' Up! swing card thinlits.  One of the projects my customers made at my Stampin' Up! catalogue launch was a swing card with the centre cut out and a feature added.  Click HERE for a tutorial by Lyssa.  This post is a feature on a beautiful card created by A Crafty Cat, Heather Payne.  This card is nothing short of amazing...

Featuring the new in-colour Black Berry Bliss along with the DSP from the Moonlight paper stack and Nuts about You (Hostess CM 133946 / WM133943) stamp set, this is Heather's creation...
