2014 Christmas Stampin' Up! Washi Tape

Washi tape can be used in place of a DSP strip or Ribbon strip. It can be gathered, laid straight, repositioned if need be, cut, torn and used on all sorts of projects.  This post showcases a very simple layout for making mass Christmas cards...

Steps
Choose a background cardstock in a coordinating colour to the Washi Tape you wish to use.
The Washi Tape is placed in uneven strips on the Whisper White cardstock, which is mounted onto the background cardstock with sticky strip.
Stamp greeting on Whisper White in a coordinating ink colour and mount this onto coordinating cardstock which has been punched out using decorative label punch.
Mount this over the washi tape strips with Dimensionals...

2014 Christmas Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees is presented in the same layout as the Christmas Santa Owl but what a difference a forest of trees makes in contrast to Santa!  These are some of the beautiful creations from my Christmas Card Class....

A different layout for the greeting utilising Stampin' Up! oval and Scallop oval punches...

2014 Christmas Stampin' Up! Owl Builder Punch

This is a layout I've used for the last couple of year's but it is timeless, crisp, clean and so, so easy.  Stampin' Up! Owl Builder Punch was used to create this cute little Santa Owl, and the Bird builder punch (wing) employed for the hat, the branch for the belt, then along with the bloom from the itty bitty punches; the ruffle and pom pom were created...he is tooo cute..

The tag punch was used for the presents, a little twine around the sponged sake - just way too cute!

As you know I love to showcase my customers creations and these are just some of them...
A Crafty Cat: Stamin' Up! Santa Owl
Love the addition of the stars and the red shadow behind the greeting - going to have to case that!

The owl builder punch is truly one of the most versatile punches you will ever use and coupled with the bird punch, they are a great combination.  Enjoy and I hope you have your Christmas cards under way...

2014 Christmas Stampin' Up! Partridge and Pears

and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.... now Stampin' Up! have the stamp set to go with it "Partridge and Pears" WM133854/CM133857.  If you love to colour in then you will surely love this one...
A Crafty Cat: Stampin' Up! "Partridge and Pears" coloured with Blendabilities
For these cards I simply stamped the image in Momento, Black Tuxedo Black 132708, on Whisper White card stock and coloured them in with Stampin' Up! Blendabilities in Old Olive and Daffodil Delight, with a highlight of darker colour where I wanted the appearance of a shadow.  I cut these down with the trimmer and mounted them onto DSP which I then mounted onto the contrasting backing card.  I then added the greeting and embellishments.

From a background of DSP to that of white, Whisper White and just let the stamp speak for itself...

Different greeting, different pear placement, but same layout...

For these cards I simply stamped the image in Momento, Black Tuxedo Black 132708, and coloured it with Stampin' Up! Blendabilities in Old Olive and Daffodil Delight, with a highlight of darker colour where I wanted the appearance of a shadow.  I then cut the tree out and mounted it onto the pre embossed (Delicate Designs 127023) pre stamped Whisper White card.  The tree's berries/young pear fruits were highlighted with Gold Glitz 133755.

So easy and just a little different for a Christmas card I think.  I have really enjoyed making these.
