Stampin' Up! Basic Flower Punch Art

Punch Art is so much fun and with Stampin' Up! builder punches, you can create all sorts of flowers.  This is a chart we made in a recent techniques class...  The tree from the Tree Builder can be used as a branch and the flowers can be used flat or shaped to create blossoms... the more you work the centre of the blossom, the smaller and tighter it becomes so you can make a centre!

The blossom builder is another versatile punch.  The petals if done in green can be leaves and the leaves if done in red/oranges can be make into a flower...  The 5 petal star can be a flower, stamen or the petiole for the base of a flower if looking sideways...
A Crafty Cat: Stampin' Up! Pansy Punch and Daisy Punch
The pansy punch is a long favourite of mine for paper flower making, and it can be used flat layered, or scrunched, stamped or not.  The Daisy punch is just as versatile in that the colour of the flower and how it is shaped leads to the type of Aster that is created.  The four yellow flowers are created out of the Daisy Punch, not Pansy punch as written.

Need a punch? Stampin' Up! had a great selection of quality punches.  Contact me or visit my online shop to see what we have available for purchase.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight

Stampin' Up! release of the Daisy punch and coordinating stamp set has been a raging success with the punch selling out very quickly... but never fear, it is back!  One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the privilege of ordering some items a month prior and luckily I did.  These are the projects I created for Catalogue Launch.  A traditional layout but stepped up to show how to go from a simple card to adding, adding, adding to get a layered card, full of texture and bling.

The card is simply stamped and matted with the flowers shaped...

with the addition of a strip of DSP, the card comes alive...

By adding texture by embossing, to the base card by embossing with the "Sparkles" Embossing Folder (1414168), the card becomes alive and the glimmer paper (133719) centres add a new bling dimension...

A velum jar is added, gems for the flower centres and the card maintains it style.  On this card I used Petal Burst (141493) Embossing Folder and Daffodil Delight (144116) double stitched ribbon...

The bundle of the punch and stamp set is a must in any card makers collection, I hope this post inspires you to step up your cards when using this (or any other) daisy punch and stamp set.
