Stampin' Up! Special Reason Catalogue CASE

Hi, Welcome to another post and this one is a CASE straight out of the occasions catalogue.  The gift bag layout for the pictorial spread of the stamp set Special Reason, is also purrrfect for a card.  This is what the A Crafty Cat team created in class.

The layout is a simply an embossed card base with an embossed flag/banner on which the stamping and die cuts are laid out on.  The card is finished with a tie of twine at the top.  The colours used were Early Expresso and Peek-a-boo Peach.

Such wonderful cards created using stamping, the rock and roll technique and die cutting on a banner and base embossed using Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.  These are gorgeous!

Stampin' Up! Special Reason catalogue CASE

Special Reason is a lovely stamp and die set released by Stampin' Up! and is great to use with the rock and Roll technique.   I CASED the layout on the bag for their class project...

On a base of Always Artichoke embossed with Seaside (141481) TIEF, the layer of rock and roll stamped flowers and die cut flowers and leaves were assembled on a Banner cut piece of So Saffron embossed with Hexagons Dynamic (143231) TIEF.

 Caujan Craze, love this colour as a card base and instead of  embossing the card base, I sponged it in Old Olive.  The banner was still embossed and the Stamped flowers and leaves were created using the Rock and Roll technique...
